Nike Kobe 5 Protro 5 Rings

Nike Kobe 5 Protro 5 Rings

Release date
September 30, 2020
Concord/Midwest Gold

The Nike Kobe 5 Protro 5 Rings edition was made to commemorate Kobe Bryant’s five championship rings. Originally made in 2010, this performance retro version stays true to the OG. It comes in a concord and midwest gold colorway. Featuring a concord purple-based upper with yellow accents and graphic detailing throughout. Zoom Air cushioning and a full translucent outsole round things out.

The Nike Kobe 5 Protro is an updated version of the classic Kobe Bryant signature sneaker that was originally released in 2009-10. Dubbed the “Protro” which stands for performance retro, this pair was made to be on-court, just like the original Kobe 5. It was designed by Eric Avar and was the second Kobe signature sneaker to debut as a low top.

The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “5 Rings” is set to release on September 30th, 2020. It will launch at Nike as well as select stores for a retail price of $180. They will be available exclusively in men’s sizing.
