Jordan Goes Incognito with Camo Tatum 4 for NBA All-Star Weekend

Celtics star Jayson Tatum was named to his first All-Star Game in the 2019-2020 season, and he hasn’t missed once since…until this year. After a devastating Achilles injury last season, Tatum has spent the early part of the season in the recovery room instead of on the court, so his automatic All-Star spot will have to go to a different Eastern Conference forward. With All-Star bringing the cultural focus to the NBA for a weekend, though, Jordan Brand isn’t missing out on the chance to show off Tatum’s latest signature shoe, even if it is in disguise.

The Jordan Tatum 4 First Ring is a mix of classic army camo with olive green suede and infrared accents. The shoe starts with a panel of black, green, and tan camo on the toe and top of the tongue, with olive suede and mesh covering the rest of the upper, and black stripes separating the panels. The lateral side Jumpman logo and JT tongue logo are both done in infrared pink for a hit of bright color, and the “0” logo on the back is colored a glowing orange like a classic hunting vest.

If the pair looks familiar, that’s because Jayson wore a very similar pair when he won his first ring with the Celtics last year. That player-exclusive pair was the Jordan Tatum 2, but it featured an identical color combo with camo detailing. With Tatum on a rapid road to recovery, Beantown media sources are optimistic he might even return for this year’s playoff run and load up ammo for another championship hunting season.
