Bad Bunny’s influence over at adidas has only grown stronger as the years go by. The Puerto Rican megastar has become the go-to collaborator, especially with the power vacuum left behind by the absence of Yeezy, as he’s been given free rein to remix and reimagine archival adidas footwear. Most recently launching a City Series of Gazelle colorways inspired by his home country, Benito will be revisiting the mash-up Adizero SL72 silhouette he first worked on back in 2024 later this year.
Fusing the ‘70s performance runner, the adidas SL 72, and the modern Adizero series, Benito plays a mash-up game on the upper. Here, we see seemingly hand-done details, like the mesh and suede paneling from the modern-day Adizero line attached above the traditional SL72 upper. These modern details take on a colorful pink finish, while the SL72’s suede paneling and textured leather tongue are done in brown.

Golden branding features are displayed on the heel tab and profile, the latter featuring stamped adidas text alongside “para bad bunny” text in between the cream Three Stripes. Completing the upper are the mini Three Stripes added to the mesh portions of the midfoot, coming in red on the medial side and blue on the lateral, and a corduroy heel counter with adidas branding in blue. Down below sits a pink and metallic silver foam midsole borrowed from the Adizero line and a tonal rubber outsole.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL72 Brown Clear Pink will release Fall 2025 through adidas, Bad Bunny’s website, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
