About the Nike Space Hippie 02 Grey Volt
The Nike Space Hippie 02 Grey Volt edition makes its debut in July 2020. This pair comes in a classic wolf grey, black, volt and smoke grey colorway. Comprised of Nike's own “space junk,” they feature a laceless grey-based recycled polyester and terry cloth upper with volt and black accents. A Crater Foam midsole made up of Nike Grind and an insole formed from reused ZoomX foam things off for the Nike Space Hippie 02.
The Nike Space Hippie 02 is made up of at least 50% recycled material by weight. Its “Space Waste Yarn” upper includes 90% recycled polyester made from recycled plastic bottles, t-shirts and yarn scraps. A soft, Crater Foam midsole combines Nike Grind with a blend of foams for stability and a unique aesthetic, while the shoe's insole is made from ZoomX foam scraps.
