The Nike Foamposite One Comme des Garcons White edition is one of two limited edition colorways set to drop alongside each other in early November of 2021. Made in collaboration with CDG’s Homme Plus imprint, this pair comes in a clean triple-white. Featuring leather overlays, a unique spiral design on the Foamposite upper and custom branding on the back heel and insoles.
The Nike Air Foamposite One was designed by Eric Avar and debuted in 1997. Originally made for Scottie Pippen, plans changed when Penny Hardaway had a meeting with Avar and saw Foam’s for the first time. He would go on to be the first NBA player to wear them on-court, in the classic “Royal” colorway. Ten years after their debut in 2007, they were retroed for the first time. Since then, we have seen the Nike Air Foamposite One re-released in various new colors and graphics.
The Comme des Garcons x Nike Air Foamposite One “White” is set to be released on November 5th, 2021. It will launch via Nike & select stores for a retail price of $520, exclusively in men’s sizing. They come housed in special packaging.
