2020 has brought with it numerous collaborations from New Balance and their latest comes in the form of the New Balance x Stray Rats 827. The sneaker first surfaced when the Stray Rats' Founder Julian Consuegra teased the collab on his Instagram earlier this year.
Shortly after the sneaker was teased it became dubbed the "Sewer Stomper" as a nod to the Stray Rats brand and its use of earth tone colors crossed by bright accents. The sneaker itself is composed of premium hazel brown suede juxtaposed by murky brown mesh interwoven with hints of slime green. The slime green seen throughout the mesh carry over throughout the piping that lines the sneaker. A purple "N" outlined by bright red adorns each side of the 827 silhouette. "Stray Rats" branding is highlighted in 3M camouflage on the heel tab. The New Balance x Stray Rats 827 will release on May 22nd for a retail price of $156.
