The New Balance 992 JJJJound Grey edition was made in collaboration with the Montreal-based creative studio. Coming in grey, this pair features a suede and mesh upper, made up of premium materials. A 3M reflective “N” logo is found on the sides with “USA” and “JJJJound” branding on the heels. Cream woven laces, Abzorb SBS cushioned midsole and rubber outsole finish things off for this “Made in the USA” edition.
The New Balance 992 made its debut in 1996. It features a similar design to previous silhouettes from NB’s 900 Series. Every pair is manufactured exclusively in the USA. A part of New Balance MADE, this sneaker contains a domestic value of 70% or more. MADE also makes up a limited portion of New Balance's US sales.
The JJJJound x New Balance 992 “Grey” is set to release on July 24th, 2020. It will launch via New Balance & select stores for a retail price of $260. They will be available exclusively in men’s sizing.
