The Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Hi Off-White is a part of “The Ten” Collection. Designed by Virgil Abloh for his Off-White brand, these Chuck Taylor’s come in a clean white, bold orange and black colorway. A 1970s edition of the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star, they feature a classic white-based canvas upper with the only hits of color coming on dual branding on the medial part of the sneaker. A black and white caution tape-themed midsole nods to one of Off-White’s key design motifs while an upside down logo on the back and orange outsole complete the look.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star is one of the most iconic sneakers of all-time. Spanning over one hundred years, it was originally released in 1917. It is the oldest and best selling sneaker to date, with 60% of all Americans having owned at least one pair in their lifetime. If you’re ever on the market for an everyday pair of kicks, you can never go wrong with a pair of Chucks.
The Off-White x Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Hi is set to release on October 18th, 2018. It will launch via Converse & select stores for a retail price of $130. They will be available exclusively in men’s sizing, housed in special packaging.
