Los Angeles - designer Melody Ehsani joined forces with Jordan Brand to resurrect the Jordan OG (W). Instead of shattering the mold, Ehsani opts to go the classical route while adding her own flair. The of the Jordan OG (W) features a black suede upper accompanied by a black and infrared midsole. Reflective 3M piping throughout the textured overlays and the red cherry dubrae complete the silhouette. Ehsani will first drop the Jordan OG (W) on her site on the 3/14 and the wider release will be 3/19. The retail price for Ehsani's newest Jordan will be $150.
Ehsani teaming up with Jordan Brand on the Jordan OG (W) comes just in time for Women's History Month. This collaboration is authentic has meaning, and demonstrates Jordan Brands efforts to be more inclusive. Jordan's OG (W) was the first ever basketball sneaker made for women and Ehsani does the sneaker justice by crafting a Jordan that symbolizes women's excellence on/off the court. Probably the most telling feature is the cherry dubrae that adorns the forefront of the sneaker. It is meant to symbolize fertility, "but not only in the sense of babes - fertility in ones life." The sneaker will first release on Ehsnai's site on 3/14 with a wider release on 3/19. Retail is $150
