As the Summer season progresses, yet another fresh Jordan release has appeared on the calendar. The Air Jordan 12 Retro University Gold, slated to drop July 24th, boasts a similar design to Gary Payton's "Away" Air Jordan 12 PE from his 2003-04 season with the Los Angeles Lakers. The sneaker features a black tumbled leather upper contrasted by vibrant, University Gold overlays and accents on the outsole, mudguard, and heel. The simple, yet eye catching two-tone design represents a strikingly similar color blocking scheme to the iconic Flu Game rendition of MJ's twelfth signature model.
While it's been quite a while since we've last had a Jordan 12 Retro release, it has remained a busy and jam-packed Summer for Nike and Jordan Brand. In the last couple of weeks alone, sneaker fans have seen the Smoke Grey 1's and the highly coveted Dior High's & Low's. If you have your eyes set on copping a pair of the University Gold AJ 12's, we've got you covered. For your best shot at scooping up a pair of the Air Jordan 12 Retro "University Gold" for the retail price of $190 on July 24th, keep it dialed in to Sole Retriever's official Raffle & Release guides and be sure to follow us on Twitter for all of the latest updates & news.
