Zion Williamson’s Naruto Jordan Collab Almost Included This Kakashi Hatake Jordan 1 High Utility Stash

While sneakerheads and basketball players overlook Zion Williamson’s sneaker line with Jordan Brand, his early years with the brand saw some high-octane collabs. The Pelicans star has a penchant for anime, specifically Naruto, which led to an official collab on his Jordan Zion 1, Jordan Zion 2, and a PE colorway of the Jordan 37. However, David’s Grails on Instagram has revealed an unseen sample from 2023 of a Zion Williamson x Naruto Shippuden x Air Jordan 1 High Utility Stash.
For those who may not remember, Jordan Brand experimented with the Jordan 1 High silhouette in 2021 and 2022 with the Utility Stash variant, adding a zipper and stash pockets to the model's upper. The sneaker was the base for another collaboration with an animation, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. As for this Naruto variant, the pair references Kakashi Hatake as the olive green and black palette mirrors his Jonin outfit.

Chrome plates with the Hidden Leaf Village emblem are on the heel above the large attached pocket, while a Uchiha Clan crest sits below. On the tongue, we see an Air Jordan Wings logo alongside a symbol for the Uzumaki Clan. Final details include the Jordan, Naruto Shippuden, and Zion Williamson-branded collar and the black midsole and outsole.
The unreleased Zion Williamson x Naruto Shippuden x Air Jordan 1 High Utility Stash Kakashi Hatake will not be released publicly, as this sample dates back to 2022.
