The Yomiuri Giants Debuted a Floral Air Jordan 11 PE Cleat to Match Their New Uniforms

At least one black and orange jerseyed baseball team named the Giants is having a good season. The squad by the Bay in San Francisco is in the dumps of the MLB and looking to sell off the whole roster at the trade deadline, but in Tokyo, the Yomiuri Giants of the Nippon Professional Baseball League are atop the Central League with new gear to match their winning ways.

Japan’s Giants Go Floral

The Yomiuri Giants Air Jordan 11 Cleat is a mix of black, red, and white to match the legacy team’s new alternate jerseys. Starting with an all-over print mix of white and red floral bouquets on a black background coating the toebox, lower side panels, and heel, the rest of the colorway brings black to the upper and red to the cleats.

The Jumpman logo on the ankle is metallic red to match the strip of red on the branding at the middle of the tongue, and the midsole switches to white just above the red cleats. The same floral print from the upper is featured on the Giants’ jerseys and hats, creating a complete look for the diamond that’s rarely seen from MLB stars.
