The race is on. Sneaker brands are diving headfirst into the running industry’s limited-edition, micro-brand side with collabs and exclusive drops, and in turn, fashion labels across the globe are jumping on board, adding their own spin on speed to the running market. After getting a preview of an upcoming Hoka collab with Korean fashion brand XLIM, we now have a clear look at three monochrome colorways from the partnership.

Arriving in Black, Grey Foam, and Peach Dust, the XLIM x Hoka Mafate Speed 2 is a solid block of fast color in three shades with stacked soles and a mix of rough suede, woven mesh, and synthetic paneling on the upper. A mix of rip-stop and mesh on the tongue and sockliner completes the single-color, multi-material mix. In addition to the three scheduled colorways, we've also seen previews of a rich blue collab colorway.

The Peach Dust colorway is the standout from the pack in an orangish-pink shade. Like the other two pairs, the colorway features XLIM branding on the toe and the lateral heel, with a yellow Vibram logo on the bottom of the midsole.

The XLIM x Hoka Mafate Speed 2 Collection will be released May 14, 2026 through XLIM, Hoka, and select retailers in-store and online.
