The XLARGE x Clarks Originals Wallabee Will Release Exclusively In Japan
Published
Clarks Originals has been creating iconic footwear for decades, and the Wallabee silhouette has been a fan-favorite for sneakerheads and everyday consumers. The brand has collaborated with various fashion houses and streetwear brands to give the Wallabee a new lease on life, like the recent three-way collab with adidas and Ronnie Fieg. For its latest endeavor into the collaborative world, Clarks Originals is teaming up with XLARGE, the Japanese streetwear brand, to create a unique version of the Wallabee.
The shoe features a premium black suede upper and tonal stitching details throughout the design. Even though XLARGE doesn’t change up the shape of the iconic Wallabee, they do spice things up with laces and the nylon tag coming in a vibrant green. XLARGE branding is attached to the mentioned nylon tag, while we see the insole host Clarks Originals branding. Like many Wallabee releases, an included leather hang tag matches the upper, with XLARGE also joining in on the fun as they add a green branded tag. Underfoot sits a black crepe sole unit, completing the design.
The XLARGE x Clarks Originals Wallabee will be exclusively released in Japan on April 15th, 2023, through XLARGE in-store and online via ZOZOTOWN and calif. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at ¥25,300 (approx $190 USD).
