For thousands of years people have been celebrating the Winter Solstice. It occurs when the Earth's poles reach their maximum tilt away from the Sun. This year Nike Sportswear is getting in on the fun with a women’s exclusive edition of the Dunk Low.
The women’s Nike Dunk Low “Winter Solstice” edition comes in a team orange and crimson bliss colorway. It Sports a premium upper made up of crimson leather underlays and hairy suede overlays in various shades of orange. Details include an embroidered winter-sun graphic that shines throughout the overlay’s stitching, leather ankle wrap and the date of the 2021 winter solstice displayed on the right shoe's tongue tag as well as the insole of the left.
The Nike Dunk Low (W) “Winter Solstice” is set to release on December 16th, 2021. It will launch at Nike as well as select retailers both in-store and online. They will be available in women’s sizes retailing for $120.
