Why So Sad? is a mission that was started by Scottish professional skateboarder, John Rattray, in 2016 to raise funds and awareness for mental health. Fast forward to 2022 and the Why So Sad? label has its own Nike SB Dunk Low on the way.
Coming in various shades of blue, the WSS x Nike SB Dunk Low features dark blue suede overlays paired with light blue nubuck underlays, and bright blue contrast stitching. A blue leather Swoosh is found on the sides and fades to gold as it wears away. Red hits can be seen via the tongue back and suede back heel tab, with white laces helping to break up the blue colors throughout the upper. Custom Why So Sad? branding can be seen via the lace tips, insoles and, back heel tab, inside tongue tag, and embroidered on the heel. A clean icy translucent outsole finishes things off.
The Why So Sad? x Nike SB Dunk Low is set to release in November 4th, 2022. It will drop at Nike and select Nike SB retailers worldwide, both in-store and online.
