Nike is Releasing a Throwback 2016 LeBron James Cleveland Cavaliers Jersey

LeBron James in the NBA Playoffs. That’s a topic that can cause either the biggest LeBron diehard to argue for hours on his impact, or on the flip side, a hater who wants to point out all the failures and mishaps of James’ postseason output. Let’s not join that debate, but instead look back to a positive time (if you’re from Cleveland, that is.) 2016, the year that is universally looked at with rose-tinted glasses, and a time we all yearn for. The King had just returned to Cleveland two years earlier, and in June, he finally brought a championship to the city where he began his career.

It’s been a full decade since then, and while we all wish we could go back to watching Vines, getting 4 for 4s from Wendy’s, and doing the mannequin challenge, we can channel some of that energy with the new throwback Cleveland Cavaliers from the team’s 2016 championship season.

Nike recreated the sleeved jersey that Bron and the Cavs wore, but on the updated Swingman build, and added a LeBron signature on the hem. Honestly, the jersey would be perfect to pair with the upcoming Nike LeBron 23 Hurt Feelings Write History, which recalls The King and the Cavs coming back from a 3-1 deficit against the Warriors in the 2016 Finals.

The retro 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James Nike jersey is expected to release on April 17, 2026, the same day as the Hurt Feelings Write History LeBron 23, for $260.
