First launching alongside the original Air Jordan 1 back in 1985, the AJKO 1 has forever been shrouded in mystery. While retros of the silhouette have been few and far between, Jordan Brand has ramped things up in the last 12 months with the original Chicago colorway and a Storm Blue look blessing the sneaker, though now we’re getting a Syracuse-inspired AJKO 1.
The AJKO 1 switches up the typical AJ 1 cut and construction by swapping out the usual all-leather upper with canvas for the majority of the sneaker. A two-tone orange and white dress the entire silhouette with the former appearing on the mudguard, eyestay, collar overlay, and Nike Swoosh while the latter lands on the toebox, midfoot, and collar underlay. Orange laces accent the white tongue while the branding details up top and on the collar overlay come in white. Underfoot, a white midsole is paired with an orange rubber outsole

The AJKO 1 Syracuse is loaded up on the Nike SNKRS app for a release on August 5th at 10 AM EST through their draw system. Once the draw begins, enter the raffle and after approximately 10 minutes Nike will select winners.
