Closing out the year in style, the US-based label is back with their good friends at New Balance to bring to life a fresh new look on the classic 991. Two colorways are set to drop, one in black, grey and purple while the other comes in grey, purple and green. Both are “Made in UK” editions, created in NB’s factory in Flimby, Cumbria, UK.
The “Black” edition of the Stray Rats x New Balance 991 features a black pigskin upper with grey nubuck overlays and purple accents. The “Grey” pair features the same pigskin and nubuck upper, but in grey and purple with brown and green accents. Stray Rats branding on the lateral forefoot, custom dual branded insoles and a “Made in UK” inside tongue tag finish things off.
The Stray Rats x New Balance 991 in both the “Black” and “Grey” colorways are set to release via raffle on December 10th on Stray Rats followed by a global release on December 17th, 2021.
