The summertime is always warm, but this year is brutal. Massive heatwaves across the globe are breaking record temperatures, causing us all to find creative ways to stay cool. Yeah, you could just sit inside and rest in the air conditioning, but you’re likely not staying active in that environment. If you want some extra help to cool down during your outdoor runs and activities, Nike ACG has just the product line for you.
What is Nike ACG Radical AirFlow?
Nike’s All Conditions Gear line introduced Radical AirFlow technology in 2025 and gave its world-class athletes access to the apparel. Now, it’s finally making its way to retail for general consumers. What exactly is Radical AirFlow? It's a ventilation pattern that mimics air ducts in mesh clothing, allowing airflow. Garments with Radical AirFlow capture air, speed it up, and funnel it through the holes towards the skin. As you run forward with Radical AirFlow on your body, the material accelerates the velocity of air to the skin and promotes evaporative cooling.
To put it plainly, the faster you run, the more cooling you’ll experience. Nike ACG trail runner Caleb Olson said, “Wearing it is like stepping into a fridge.”
