Krispy Kreme Has Six Pokémon Doughnuts Available Next Week

Everyone who has a direct line of communication to The Pokémon Company has been urgently trying to secure a collaboration with the franchise as it celebrates its 30th birthday in 2026. Footwear has obviously taken part in this, including collabs with Puma, adidas, and Crocs, but there’s also been projects with LEGO, and now one from the food industry. The iconic doughnut shop Krispy Kreme has announced a new collaboration with Pokémon that will bring to life five beloved Pokémon characters and the Poké Ball via doughnut flavors.

Krispy Kreme Pokémon Doughnut Flavors

The five Pokémon that appear on Krispy Kreme doughnuts include Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff, with each flavor topped with a depiction of the Pokémon. Bulbasaur’s doughnut uses the Original Glazed flavor as its base and dips the top in a teal vanilla frosting, while green frosting leaves are added to the bottom.

For Charmander, the fire-type Pokémon is translated as an unglazed shell doughnut filled with chocolate toasted marshmallow-flavored filling. The top is then dipped in an orange caramel icing, with red and gold sugar used on half of the treat. Squirtle’s uses the Original Glazed as the base, with fluffy cotton candy flavored buttercreme piped in a spiral pattern and dipped in sanding sugar and white nonpareils.

The most iconic Pokémon, Pikachu, has a lemon-flavored Kreme-filled doughnut dipped in yellow-shaded vanilla icing and features an electrifying drizzle and yellow nonpareils on top. For Jigglypuff, the pink Pokémon starts with an Original Glazed doughnut, which is piped with a strawberry-flavored buttercreme and sprinkled with strawberry-flavored cookie crumbles.

Finally, the Pokémon doughnuts are complete with a Poké Ball, which uses an Original Glazed doughnut that is dipped in vanilla frosting and features red sprinkles on the top half and a chocolate frosting to recreate the look of a Poké Ball. In addition to the doughnuts, Krispy Kreme is also offering gold doughnut dots in a 10-count that comes in a cup featuring rotating Pokémon characters.

Where to Buy the Krispy Kreme Pokémon Collab

Krispy Kreme locations will be offering the Pokémon doughnuts starting August 18, 2026. You can pre-order at your local Krispy Kreme via their online website, but if you don’t have a Krispy Kreme near you, select retail locations like Walmart, Kroger, Publix, and Stater Brothers will have 6-count boxes with 1 Pikachu Doughnut, 1 Jigglypuff Doughnut, 1 Charmander Doughnut, 1 Poké Ball Doughnut, and 2 Original Glazed doughnuts.
