From Buffalo to the globe, Griselda put street rap back on the map. But don’t get it twisted, the frigid winters in Upstate New York give way to gorgeous summers, and the grimey crew still gets fresh. In his latest collab with Saucony, Westside Gunn put together a bright mix he calls “SUPER FLYGOD,” and over the weekend, he gifted early pairs to some musically talented friends.
In a series of social media posts, Gunn gave us a preview of the ProGrid Triumph 4 SUPER FLYGOD with its green mesh upper, yellow toe structural panels, neon pink outlines on the toe and forefoot, and orange strip towards the heel. Hits of silver and grey break up the crayon colors on the lace panel and heel counter, with a white midsole and more color underneath, with pink and blue peeking from the outsole. To complete the candy-colored look, the shoes come with a Griselda hangtag and a hot pink box with Griselda written in bold black letters.
The shoes first showed up in the hands of Detroit rappers Babyface Ray and GT, who picked up pairs while Gunn recorded their reactions. Next, singer and Nike SNKRS host Tiona Deniece picked up her own pair and sang an impromptu freestyle about the shoes. Westside Gunn announced his Saucony partnership at the end of last year, and we’ve been waiting with heavy anticipation since. We first saw previews of this pair glowing in the dark, so it’s nice to see a clearer picture in the daytime sun.
The Westside Gunn x Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 SUPER FLYGOD will be released December 4, 2025 through Saucony and select retailers in-store and online.
