Fashion designer Wales Bonner continues to make waves in the sneaker world as another collaboration with adidas has surfaced. Recently, we received first looks at the British-born designer’s F/W 2023 collection with The Three Stripes, but now another Samba with Grace’s twist has emerged — the Wales Bonner x adidas Nubuck Samba “Ecru Tint.”
Drawing inspiration from the designer's unique aesthetics and adidas' rich heritage, this Samba features an ecru tint leather upper with a similar shade landing on the nubuck panels along the mudguard and eyestays. Contrasting this are hits of almost yellow on the leather Three Stripes branding and laces. Further accents mark the oversized and flipped tongue that hosts a co-branded Wales Bonner and adidas logo, with this portion dressed in dark brown. Extra stitching details grace the heel tab where another Wales Bonner logo is present, this time stamped into the lateral heel. An ecru tint-shaded leather sockliner completes the upper, while a black rubber midsole and outsole complete the look.
The Wales Bonner x adidas Nubuck Samba Ecru Tint is set to release in 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is yet to be announced.
