Verdy's VK Design Works Is Dropping a Dover Street Market Exclusive New Balance 991v2

Famed Japanese designer and Girls Don't Cry founder Verdy is launching a pop-up installation at Dover Street London this weekend, and in addition to exclusive shirts, bags, and accessories, we just got a first look at a VK Design Works x Dover Street Market x New Balance 991v2 Made In UK set to drop sometime this month.
Dressed in dark brown chocolate suede and off-white mesh, the sole is a two-tone grey and white split, with dark blue ABZORB SBS pods for added comfort. The "N" logo pops off the muted brown in a classic New Balance grey while the tongue features Dover Street Market's DSM logo on the tongue and a VK hit for VK Design Works on the tongue stay.

Verdy's Gift Shop will be stationed in the basement of Dover Street London, with an installation on the ground floor as well. The Gift Shop will be highlighted by new drops every Thursday, but Verdy isn't dropping any clues as to what's releasing when.
Dover Street has had its hand in a couple 991v2 colorways this year, but for Verdy, best known in the sneaker world for his myriad Nike SB collabs - Wasted Youth Dunks, Girls Don't Cry Dunks, and his fluffy Verdy Dunks - this will be his first time using a New Balance as a canvas.
Verdy's Gift Shop will be open at Dover Street Market London from August 8 - August 27, with new drops every Thursday in-store. There's no telling which Thursday this month will see the 991v2 drop, and we haven't heard a set retail price, but as always, download the Sole Retriever mobile app and stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
