When Virgil Abloh passed away, it was unclear what would become of the artist and designer’s brands and collaborative efforts. After Off-White was sold to a new parent company, the brand’s legendary Air Jordan and Nike collabs were off the table, but Beaverton was still interested in carrying on Abloh’s legacy and partnered directly with Virgil Abloh’s Estate for a return to form.

Covered in white leather with icy blue accents like an Alaskan glacier added to the toebox, side panels, and ankle collar, the Virgil Abloh Archive collab features the same “AIR” branding and small visible stitching details that made Abloh’s design language famous, as well as the black Helvetica text on the medial side panel and the “85” hidden under the lace wing.
The Virgil Abloh Archives x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Alaska will be released Spring 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online.
