Founded in the late ‘80s, Japanese retailer United Arrows has become renowned for their collaborations with New Balance over the last decade. The two are teaming up once again on one of New Balance’s most popular silhouettes as of late, the 2002R.
Across the upper, a duo of leather and mesh comprise the overlays and underlays respectively. White leather makes up the midfoot, contrasted by New Balance’s N logo in a gradient of pink and blue. More contrasting colors can be seen throughout, with blue hits appearing along the sockliner and United Arrows symbol on the mudguard. Pink makes its way onto the toebox overlays and heel. Rounding out the look is the cream colored midsole set to a blue, pink, and black outsole.
The United Arrows x New Balance 2002R is currently available for pre-order through United Arrows’ website exclusively in Japan, though a worldwide drop is up in the air at the moment.
