2021 was another successful year for Chris Gibbs’ Los Angeles-based shop. Their Air Jordan 4 Retro “Tent & Trail” Collection was widely received and served as a perfect follow-up to their 2020 capsule. With another collab with Jordan Brand set for Spring 2022, Union has also linked up with NSW on what is now a trio of Dunk Lows.
Initially leaked in a “Blue” colorway followed by a “Green” pair, now a third colorway has popped up. Coming in a Los Angeles Lakers-like grey, purple and yellow, this Union x Nike Dunk Low is being dubbed the “Purple” edition. It features the same semi-translucent ripstop-like textured upper as the previous two pairs, but with grey overlays and purple underlays. Yellow accents the contrast stitching and branding throughout while a white midsole and purple translucent outsole round things out.
The Union x Nike Dunk Low Purple is set to release in 2022. It will launch at Union as well as select Nike retailers both in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizes retailing for $150.
