PublishedQuick Facts
- fragment design and Union LA will drop their Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Chicago Royal in February 2026
- Retail is set at $205
- Expect releases from Union/fragment, select retailers, and potentially Nike SNKRS

It’s the triple collab to rule them all. Well… really it seems that title belongs to Travis Scott, fragment design, and Jordan Brand, but swapping out La Flame for legendary LA retailer Union is a pretty close second in our opinion. The trio featuring Scott dropped an Air Jordan 1 Low collab near the end of 2025, but throughout the last year, we saw plenty of previews of this mash-up combining Union’s DIY AJ 1 design and fragment’s subtle motifs. Finally, after months and months of teasers, we have confirmed release information for at least one of the three pairs of Union LA and fragment’s triple-collab Jordan 1 High.
Right now, there are two dates floating for the Chicago Royal colorway, which features a mixture of colors from the Chicago colorway and fragment’s original AJ 1 collab from 2014, with Canadian retailer NRML sporting a February 6th date. However, Hypebeast Hong Kong posted an unboxing video on their social media alongside a caption stating a release will take place on February 14th. With that said, it’s clear the pair is dropping at some point in February.
Collabs like this typically come with a staggered release, usually through the collaborators' channels, then a wider Nike SNKRS and/or retailer release. Photos posted on social media also show that friends-and-family of Union and fragment have received checkout links to purchase the sneaker, so again, pointing to a release happening very soon.
Alongside this Chicago Royal colorway, there are two other Union fragment Jordan 1 Highs, one in a clean White Black build and another in Sport Royal, the latter of which looks like a mash-up of the original Royal AJ 1 and the Neutral Grey colorway. Rumors have swirled about these three being regional exclusives, with the Chicago Royal being the most widely available. The White Black rendition is expected to remain exclusive to Japan, while the Sport Royal still has no confirmed release info or regional exclusivity tied to it.
The Union LA x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Chicago Royal will be released in February 2026 through a special Union x fragment website, select retailers, and possibly Nike SNKRS.
