The Union LA x Bephies Beauty Supply x Air Jordan 1 High OG Woven Releases In August

One of Nike and Jordan Brand’s hottest collaborators in the last half-decade, Union LA, has had the pleasure of working with both labels on a variety of silhouettes. The LA-based retailer’s take on the AJ 1 High has become the most coveted of them all. Since then, we’ve seen their take on the Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 4, along with two low-top versions of the mysterious AJKO 1 in both canvas and leather. The AJKO is not the only AJ 1 variant Union is working on, as rumors that spawned from notorious leaker horhead_sales suggest that we’ll be seeing a brand new Union LA x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG.

These rumors were confirmed by MrUnloved1s, who showcased the colorway, SKU, and release date for the highly anticipated collaboration. Following this confirmation, first looks showcase a woven design on the upper of the AJ 1. Like previous Union LA x Air Jordan 1 collabs, the upper features tumbled leather in a vintage creamy hue, with the leather edge coming raw. Running along the profile and wrapping around the entire sneaker is a textile material similar to the Nike Footscape Woven in a neutral whiteish-grey. Tonal laces match the vintage look, while the tongue tag above comes in grey. This shade takes over the sockliner, while the collar features a large Jordan Wings logo in white. Extra stitching details in green line the edge with the acronym for Bephies Beauty Supply (the storefront owned by Chris Gibb's wife, Bephie) on the square heel patch. Rounding out the look is the AJ 1 midsole and outsole in a sail finish. Alongside this pair, BBS and Union have crafted an Air Jordan 1 High Elevate.

The Union x BBS x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Woven is set to release August 24 via Union LA. A release through Nike SNKRS will take place on August 26. Releasing in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
