The Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 Returns August 2025

This year might be the most stacked regarding releases from Jordan Brand. Many OG colorways across the Air Jordan lineup are slated to return in 2025 as the label celebrates the 40th birthday of the first signature sneaker from Michael Jordan, but there’s more up Jordan Brand’s sleeves. The brand is bringing back one of the most coveted Air Jordans of all time, the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4.

In 2005, Jordan Brand and sneaker boutique Undefeated collaborated to create an MA-1 flight jacket-inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 4, limited to 72 pairs. In addition to the pair's ultra-exclusive nature, it was the first time an outside partner collaborated on any Air Jordan product. Rumors spawned last year saying the pair was set to return, though we have heard this multiple times and have seen various samples emerge that were never released to the public. Now, Sole Retriever can confirm the colorway will be released in August 2025.

Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP Release Date

Originally, product SKUs for two versions of the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 Retro appeared. One variant was for the Nike Air version, the one the public will have a shot at when it releases on August 2, and another with Jumpman branding. For those who don't know, the original 72 pair run from 2005 (and subsequent samples over the years) featured the Jumpman logo. It was also reported that both versions would be released.

However, the Jumpman version will remain a promo pair (essentially a friends and family release). Complex initially reported the news, but Sole Retriever also confirmed with a source at Jordan Brand that this is true. There will only be one version of the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 released to the general public, that being with Nike Air on the heel.

The Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 Retro SP will release in the two versions mentioned above in Fall 2025. The exact release method for the Nike Air and Jumpman versions of the Undefeated Jordan 4 has not been revealed, but a drop has been announced for August 2, 2025.
