Live sneaker events are back in style. After a few years where line-up mayhem and a pandemic pushed everything online, the sneaker industry is back outside in a major way for 2025, and Jordan is ending the year with a bang. With the latest Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 set to drop this month, the brands are joining forces like Voltron to take over Tokyo Bay and show out for Japanese sneakerheads.

The event, Hijacked: A Tokyo Bay Takeover, was announced on Travis’s Instagram page and was immediately fully booked. Only open to Japanese residents 18 and over, the warehouse launch of the new triple collab Jordan 1 Low will feature live performances (no word if Scott will be one of the special on-stage guests, though), live painting, a runway show for cars, a racing simulator, and will end with a one-hour time slot for a “special announcement.”

We haven’t heard if the event will feature a debut release of the new Jordan 1 Low collab for attendees, but with such a big event planned, we would hope that at least some folks will leave with a new pair of shoes. The follow-up to the 2021 triple collab grail, this pair of Cactus Jack fragment 1s mixes sail and military blue for another certain backwards Swoosh sell-out.

The Travis Scott x fragment design x Jordan Tokyo Bay Takeover is scheduled for November 7, 2025 in Yokohama, Japan, but if you didn’t RSVP before the event filled up its free spots, you’re sadly out of luck.
