Travis Scott's influence on sneaker culture extends beyond the stage and studio, intertwining with the world of sports through his innovative collaborations with Jordan Brand. While the world finally received a release of his signature sneaker, the Jordan Jumpman Jack (albeit an ultra-limited shock drop), the spotlight has now turned to Travis Scott's Air Jordan 1 Low. During the Cactus Jack Foundation’s HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic held at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, Scott and others on the field sported pairs of his AJ1 Lows with a cleated sole unit to be able to play on the baseball field.
Two colorways were spotted on the field, the Reverse Mocha and another resembling his Jordan 1 Low Golf collaboration. These sneakers retain the iconic design elements of Scott’s previous Air Jordan collaborations, including the reverse Swoosh on the lateral side and Cactus Jack branding on the insole and heel. The cleated sole unit, designed for performance on the softball field, features co-branding that signifies the collaboration between Travis Scott and Jordan Brand.
Although the cleated Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low PEs were exclusively created for the event and are not available for purchase, their presence highlights the ongoing partnership between Travis Scott and Jordan Brand, as well as Scott's dedication to community engagement through his foundation.
