Crocs is set to continue its impressive streak of collaborations in 2024, adding another exciting chapter to its Classic Clog lineup. Joining forces with the iconic Toy Story franchise, Crocs is poised to release a special Buzz Lightyear-themed version of its Classic Clog. This collaboration is part of a broader series that includes designs inspired by other beloved franchises like Naruto, The Powerpuff Girls, SpongeBob SquarePants, and even Buzz Lightyear's loyal companion, Woody.
True to Buzz's vibrant character, the clog captures his distinctive green and purple color scheme, along with the recognizable buttons that bring his suit to life in the series. The design is a playful homage, complete with Jibbitz that depicts Buzz's space suit packaging, his deployable wings, and his well-known catchphrase, "To infinity and beyond."
In a charming nod to the Toy Story narrative, the right footbed of Buzz's Crocs features Andy's name, handwritten in the style seen in the films. This thoughtful detail adds an authentic touch, evoking the sentimental connection between the characters and their owner. The design is rounded off with a crisp white sole unit adorned with stickers representing Buzz Lightyear, coupled with a sturdy outsole.
The Toy Story x Crocs Classic Clog Buzz Lightyear will release on February 21, 2024, through Crocs and select retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, adult pairs will retail for $70.
