adidas is no stranger to making chocolate branded sneakers as seen on their M&M collab from 2021. This year, Dutch chocolate confectionery Tony Chocolonley takes the reins on the legendary adidas Superstar.
Continuing their mission to end plastic waste, adidas has chosen to use recycled materials in lieu of the standard Superstar construction. Base canvas coming in white wraps from heel to rubber shell toe cap. Layered canvas and a mesh tongue comes in a two-tone white and blue, with white laces running through the leather eyelet. Atop the tongue and heel, a yellow pull tab is dressed with adidas branding and “Crazy Serious” written in blue. Further adidas branding comes in the form of Three Stripes in white on the medial side and two-toned red and blue on the lateral side. Working back to the heel, adidas written in the font of Tony Chocolonely branding sits aside the red leather heel tab.
