Their creative fusion birthed The Butterfly, a silhouette that brilliantly tapped into the foam slip-on trend. It offered a dual-layered approach: an outer foam shell paired with a detachable inner bootie. Though the OG colorway and the ultra-limited Glow-In-The-Dark were underrated hits, two fresh colorways for 2023 have been spotted: Black and Beige.
The forthcoming Black and Beige versions promise to keep the spirit of the original design alive. Both iterations champion a harmonious blend of tones, with the Beige variant receiving a splash of vibrancy through red accents, spotlighted on the TOMBOGO and Saucony logos at the heel. These red details seamlessly weave their way onto the stitching of the tongue and heel, adding subtle dynamism. Nestled below is the co-branded midsole, rounded off with a matching rubber outsole. Notably, the toe and heel regions are accentuated with semi-translucent rubber components in contrasting hues, enhancing the shoe's overall appeal.
The TOMBOGO x Saucony The Butterfly Black & Beige will release in 2023 through TOMBOGO, Saucony, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
