One of Canada's most beloved food chains, Tim Hortons, is celebrating two significant milestones in 2024: the 60th Anniversary of Tims and National Donut Day. Tim Hortons has teamed up with adidas to create four exclusive 1-of-1 adidas Samba colorways inspired by popular doughnut varieties to commemorate these events.
"We're marking our 60th Anniversary with a number of fun surprises for our loyal guests throughout the year and we're thrilled to be partnering with adidas for a celebration of some of the most iconic Tims donuts ever," says Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons. These specially designed Sambas are not for sale but will be awarded through a unique giveaway.
The collection includes four designs inspired by the Boston Cream, Honey Cruller, Vanilla Dip, and Double Chocolate doughnuts. Each pair features a distinct design that pays homage to these classic flavors. The Boston Cream edition boasts a tan suede upper representing the doughnut, brown accents for the chocolate fondant, and a cream-colored tongue to signify the creamy center.
The Honey Cruller pair highlights honey tones throughout, with pleated details on the tongue that mimic the doughnut's signature curves and textures. The Vanilla Dip edition combines tan suede and white leather to emulate the doughnut and fondant, with multi-colored sprinkles adorning the tongue and heel. Finally, the Double Chocolate pair features a two-tone dark brown suede upper, representing the rich chocolatey goodness of the doughnut.
