Once again, collaborating with one of the most iconic television shows in history, adidas, and The Simpsons have more tricks up their sleeves. The two have delivered memorable collaborations, becoming instant hits among fans and sneakerheads. This year, they're rolling out more fresh designs, the most recent pack coming centered around the theme of the show's unforgettable intro sequence. The adiFOM Superstar, a more recent addition to adidas' illustrious lineup, is at the forefront of this new chapter.
Drawing inspiration from the picturesque blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds seen at the beginning of each Simpsons episode, the adiFOM Superstar Sky offers a serene visual delight. The foam construction, known for its sustainable sugarcane-based composition, ensures the sneaker is as eco-friendly as it is aesthetically pleasing. A tranquil blue engulfs the upper, juxtaposed by the subtle white highlights representing the clouds and the iconic Three Stripes. Additionally, yellow accents adorn the heel's Trefoil logo and the insole, where a co-branded adidas and The Simpsons tag further cements this collaboration's exclusivity. A matching blue foam outsole sits below, promising comfort with every step, completing the design. Alongside this pair, a Forum Low and NMD_G1 also take inspiration from portions of the intro sequence. The Forum Low features the color palette and material makeup of the Simpsons’ living room, and the NMD_G1 resembles Homer using the remote in the intro sequence.
The Simpsons x adidas adiFOM Superstar Sky will release November 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. As of now, the retail price has yet to be announced.
