Fresh off the heels of its successful restock of the Disney Pixar's Lightning McQueen iteration, it's clear that Crocs' love affair with animated automobiles is far from over. This time, fans are treated to a design inspired by Radiator Springs' most lovable tow truck: Mater.
Embarking on an innovative journey, the Mater Crocs beautifully captures the character's essence. The front of the clog showcases Mater's unmistakable smile, meticulously crafted using a glossy TPU overlay, evoking memories of the character's warm-hearted antics in the Pixar series. As one moves further down the Classic Clog, Mater's iconic exposed engine, situated just below his eyes, is intricately detailed. The character's rustic charm isn't forgotten; the brown foam forefoot seamlessly transitions to Mater's weathered and rusty appearance, hinting at his many adventures and years in Radiator Springs. The rear sports mode strap is another nod to the character's heritage, adorned with Mater's signature towing hook. A black rubber outsole complements the overall design, ensuring durability and grip.
The Pixar x Crocs Classic Clog Mater will release October 17, 2023, exclusively through Crocs online.
