The NYC streetwear brand reworks a '90s classic.
After a series of leaks last month, the Supreme x NIke Air Max 98 TL collaboration has now been officially confirmed by the New York City-based streetwear imprint. While the James Jebbia-helmed label is certainly no stranger when it comes to the Air Max 98, this specific model has been exclusively for Supreme. Fusing the '90s sneaker's signature retro aesthetic with a range of futuristic elements, read on to find out everything that you need to know.
Coming in four distinct colorways, including "Brown," "White," "Pink," and of course, "Black," Supreme's AM98 TL works on top of a breathable mesh base and is overlaid by smooth leather panels throughout. Topographically-inspired details make their way to the toebox, laterals, and medials, while Supreme and Nike branding features on the heel and sidewalls, respectively. These have been finished with a 3M reflective coating which means you can flex even in low-light conditions. Underfoot, you'll find a full length Air midsole which is just like the unit found on the original pair, and rounding off the collaboration are a pair of bold red insoles that fall perfectly in line with the NYC label's iconic color scheme.
The Supreme x NIke Air Max 98 TL Collection will release at Supreme (US/EU) on November 3rd, 2022, and November 5th, 2022 in Japanese markets.
