Stussy and Nike have been critical partners over the last two decades, dating back to 2001 with the Air Huarache and most recently working on a three-pack of Nike Vandal High colorways. Now, working with Japanese fashion studio NOMA t.d., Stussy is set to release a Japanese-exclusive colorway on the Nike Vandal High.
Utilizing traditional techniques and artisan methods to create beautiful textiles, this three-way collaboration on the Nike Vandal High contains the hemp-based upper seen on previous Stussy x Nike Vandals with a hand-dyed pattern applied to the sneaker. Pink and white hues are swirled along the sides of the upper, while navy and black hues take over the rest of the upper. White laces contrast the darker shade, while the lockdown strap contains an “S” like embroidered pattern in pink. Co-branding between Stussy and NOMA is featured on the tongue tag with both brands’ logos present. Other pop details include the pink embroidered Swoosh on the midfoot and the exposed foam on the tongue. Rounding everything out is the white rubber midsole and outsole.
The Stussy x NOMA t.d. x Nike Vandal High will release on September 1, 2023, exclusively through Stussy Japan’s website and Stussy’s Harajuku, Japan location. As of now, sizing and pricing information has not been announced.
