Stussy and Nike continue to work on Penny Hardaway’s Air Penny 2 with the multi-material-covered “Rattan” colorway.

The relationship between Stussy and Nike has led to a wide array of collaborative efforts over the last few decades, most recently working on a two-pack of Nike Air Penny 2 colorways that was released back in December 2022. Continuing this project, a third colorway has just emerged and is set to drop very soon - the Stussy x Nike Air Penny 2 in the “Rattan” colorway.

Taking on a mixture of hemp canvas, suede, and foam, the wavy-like design of the Air Penny 2 truly stands out with the mixture of materials and distinct colors that dress the upper. Tan hues wrap around from the toe towards the heel across the suede panel and come separated from the top portion of the upper via a black line, allowing the greenish-hued hemp to stand out. Black-on-black lands on the lace set and tongue with the branding window receiving a clear, aged look. Pull-tabs on the tongue and heel both take on a black nylon finish while we see Nike branding embroidered just below the latter of the two locations in black. The upper comes completed via the blue “Stussy” logo located on the midfoot while the design of the entire sneaker is finished off via a black-on-black midsole and outsole.

The Stussy x Nike Air Penny 2 Rattan is set to release on February 10th, 2023 exclusively via Stussy. A wider release will follow on February 14th, 2023 through Nike, and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
