Earlier this month we were treated to our first look at Stussy’s latest collaboration with the Swoosh. Set to honor their 40th Anniversary in 2022, the Cali-based retailer puts their twist on the classic Air Force 1.
For their monumental anniversary, Stussy has decided to work on two iterations of the Nike Air Force 1 Mid. While it may not be the most popular cut of the AF1, it is still iconic. Featuring the same build as the “Black White” colorway, this black-based pair sports a full premium leather upper with tumbled leather Swooshes on the sides. Stussy branding is found embroidered on the midfoot velcro strap enclosure, custom back heel tab and tongue tag. Traditional perforations on the toe box have been replaced by Stussy’s double S logo while a white midsole provides the only break of color on this pair.
The Stussy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Black is set to be released in May 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select Stussy retailers both in-store and online.
