Stussy follows up on their previous collaboration with Converse.
Stussy has been a long-time collaborator for The Swoosh and the brands that fall under its umbrella, first linking up with the company back in 2000 with the Huarache silhouette. Over 20 years later and the back catalog between the two has grown, with 2022 being host to multiple packs of Air Max 2013s, AF1’s, and the Converse Chuck 70 Hi and One Star Ox. Now it seems another Chuck 70 Hi was able to fly under the radar all year as the Stussy Surfman is landing on the latest collaborative pair.
Covered entirely in hemp canvas across the upper, typical black and white accents appear throughout the silhouette. Down on the toe, white rubber meets with the aforementioned hemp canvas, dressed entirely in bright pink, while the nearby metal eyestays host a set of black flat laces. Atop the tongue, Stussy redesigns the “All-Star” logo to feature the same star design seen on their black Chuck Hi. Working along the midfoot, the lateral side features the famous Stussy Surfman logo in black while the medial side keeps things monochromatic, getting dressed in the same pink hemp canvas as the rest of the upper. Finishing the design is the white vulcanized rubber midsole paired with a gum rubber outsole underneath.
The Stussy x Converse Chuck 70 Hi Surfman is set to release on September 1st, 2022 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app for more updates on the latest happenings in sneakers, streetwear, and more.
