The sneaker isn't just an expression of stylistic excellence but also a tribute to the enchanting allure of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Studio FY7 x New Balance 576 captures the essence of the Mediterranean with its detailed design cues. A slick black suede and mesh upper comes accented by punchy deep turquoise and rich aqua-blue hues featured prominently on the tongue and logo. The contours of the logo are then highlighted in a crisp, pearl white - a symbolic nod to the contrast between the rocky coastlines of the Mediterranean and its mesmerizingly blue waters. Silver accents appear on the leather overlay around the collar and heel. Underfoot sits an ENCAP-cushioned midsole in white and grey paired with a black outsole.
The Studio FY7 x New Balance 576 Mediterranean Sea will release June 23 exclusively through Studio FY7’s website. Releasing in men's sizing, the retail price is set at €220 (approx $235 USD). The release will be limited to just 500 pairs.
