July 1st, 2022 marks the release of Season 4: Volume 2 for the Netflix original series, Stranger Things. While most are still processing Season 4: Volume 1 in anticipation of the final part of the latest season, the footwear scene is getting blessed with a new collaboration, courtesy of Vans.
Without spoiling things, the Stranger Things x Vans Collection will feature special edition versions of classic silhouettes such as the Sk-8 Hi, Authentic, and Old Skool. Recently unveiled is a “Hellfire Club” edition of the Vans Old Skool. The Hellfire Club is a D&D Club at Hawkins High School, featuring some of the main cast of Stranger Things. (We won’t name the whole crew in case you still have yet to start Season 4).
Dressed in a classic black and white, the sneaker features a canvas upper with red cracks from the Upside Down trying to break through. Distressed, worn denim overlays give off a vibe that the sneaker has been through battle, courtesy of the Hellfire Club. A chain-like graphic runs through the white leather stripe on the sides, with custom graphics on the lateral sides, and back heels. The white vulcanized sole comes with a pre-worn look, scuffed up in all its glory. It also features hand drawn-like graphics throughout. Dirty, faded yellow laces finish things off for this Stranger Things x Vans Old Skool.
The Stranger Things x Vans Style 36 Hellfire Club is set to release on August 26th, 2022. It will drop at Vans, as well as select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online.
