Story mfg. x Asics Gel-Transcend FJ Pack

Story mfg. is a clothing brand dedicated to sustainability in life, work, and fashion. The husband-and-wife-founded label carefully curates every garment, from cut and color to material and retail. For its latest collab work, Story is going back to work with Asics after dropping a Gel-Venture 6, releasing a two-pack of the Gel-Transcend FJ that was first previewed way back in June.

Writing a New Story

The Story mfg. x Asics Gel-Transcend FJ Pack is a two-pack of plaid colorways with walking in mind. Arriving in Dark Brown and Black, both pairs feature a plaid grid design across the toebox, heel counter, logo, and lace panel, with soft mesh covering the rest of the breathable upper. Story mfg branding is added to the tongue, lateral heel, and insoles, with a bulky sole underfoot for endless comfort.

“This one is a tribute to rambling,” Story mfg wrote about the collection on Instagram. “To ramble is to walk, to move, to talk too much, or to grow. To avoid disappointment, pick up early in person this weekend in London at our studio by joining our ‘rambling club (free, of course) (or) visiting our NY Chapter.”
