Curry watch is in full effect. As the Golden State Warriors push to keep up in a top-heavy Western Conference, the spotlight surrounding the team and superstar Steph Curry has shifted downward, with an all-encompassing focus on Steph’s sneaker saga in the weeks since his industry-shaking split with Under Armour.

For Monday’s home matchup against the Utah Jazz, Steph pulled up from three, breaking out three pairs of sneakers from Beaverton. First, he entered the arena in Flu Game Air Jordan 12s as a nod to Jordan’s legendary performance against Stockton, Malone, and the Jazz in Game 5 of the 1997 Finals. For warm-ups, he broke out a pair of Last Shot Air Jordan 14s, another Jordan vs. Utah Finals reference, this time from ‘98.

For gametime, though, Steph brought it back to the Bay with a shoutout to Walnut Creek, CA local and WNBA superstar Sabrina Ionescu, who is back home for the off-season and was sitting courtside to watch Steph lace up her Sabrina 3 signature kicks.

“I brought out the (Jordan) Flu Games and the Final Shots and then played in the Sabrina 3s,” Steph told reporters after the game. “Everybody should be on alert. I’m calling everybody. Trying to get some good product."

Rocking a New York Liberty green colorway of Sabrina’s signature shoe, the cross-league hat tip was the first time Steph has worn Nike’s on court in 13 years, and comes after reports that Steph helped Ionescu with inside info during the Liberty’s recent head coach hiring hunt.

If you’re a sneaker reseller and Steph Curry or his team has reached out to you trying to buy pairs, please reach out, we wanna talk.
