Steph Curry’s First Li-Ning Shoe is for the Golf Course, Not the Basketball Court

Steph Curry takes his offseason seriously. We’re sure he puts in plenty of time getting shots up and doing that eight tennis ball dribbling drill he does, but for the most part, Chef Curry spends his time off on the golf course, perfecting his PGA-ready driving and short game. Every summer, the GOAT takes over NorCal’s most fun golf tournament in Tahoe, and this year, he brought his new shoe sponsor with him.

Curry hit the links in a new pair of Li-Ning Curry Brand Golf Shoes this week, continuing the slow rollout of his new shoe deal. After a full NBA season of speculation and sneaker free agency, Curry shocked the sneaker world by picking Li-Ning as Curry Brand’s new home. Now, after debuting the new Li-Ning Curry logo, the golf shoe is the first pair of sneakers we’ve seen from the new partnership.

Featuring a full foot of white leather, the Curry Brand Li-Ning adds penny loafer-style perforations around the bottom section of the side panel and the lace panel that come to a couple of points on the toebox. A frilly lace cover brings the pair a classic look, with more perforations on the cover and a black Curry Brand logo on the tongue cover.
