Air Max Day is here, and Nike dropped some heat on us to celebrate the Air Max series. Alongside the Air Max DNs debut, the Air Max 1 ‘86 Air Max Day Royal “shock dropped” earlier this morning. Now that product drops are over, the internet has been filled with discussions on classic Air Max sneakers, and one pair consistently is brought up: the Stash x Nike Air Max 95. Initially released in 2006 as part of the Artist Series, Stash reimagined the Air Max 95 with his distinct style, resulting in a sneaker that has remained a sought-after grail for many collectors. Now, the graffiti artist has teased a retro of the pair for Air Max Day 2025.
Teased via a pixelated photo on Stash’s Instagram, the upcoming retro should faithfully recreate the original's design, blending urban artistry with the iconic Air Max 95. Featuring a color palette that has become synonymous with Stash's work, the sneaker will showcase various shades of grey across the upper with blue hits near the top. The integration of suede on the overlays adds a luxurious touch, while the grey and blue canvas upper reflects Stash's street-inspired aesthetics. Underfoot sits a black midsole with blue speckle details and a black rubber outsole.
The Stash x Nike Air Max 95 is rumored to release on March 26, 2025, aligning with Air Max Day celebrations. As of this writing, the retail price has yet to be revealed.
