STAPLE and Brooks are Going Hiking with this Paris Fashion Week Collab Preview

The sneaker community told Jeff Staple to take a hike, and he obliged. After throwing a fake pair of Pigeon Dunks and at least some of his credibility onto a lamppost in New York City for a social media publicity stunt, streetwear OG and STAPLE owner Jeff Staple is back with his latest collab, and this time, he’s trading the city pigeon lifestyle for a breath of fresh air on the trails.

Previewed at Paris Fashion Week, the STAPLE x Brooks Trail Collection features two silhouettes, a Cascadia 1 and a Ghost Trail, both in tan, brown, and crimson red colorways that highlight the earth tones of a trail hike. Spanning Brooks’ trail shoe history, the pack puts together a retro pair of Brooks’ first trail shoe with its most recent stack of technological advancements.

The Cascadia 1 is the darker colorway of the two, mixing light brown mesh with dark brown suede support panels and a crosshatched tan leather on the toe and bottom of the sides. Red laces and stitching tie it all together with a light brown gum sole underfoot. The Ghost Trail is a modern running shoe with a one-piece mesh upper in tan and a thick cushioned stack of a midsole split between grey and light brown. Red laces bring the shoe together with the Cascadia, including a hiking lace pull tab added on the heel.

The STAPLE x Brooks Trail Collection will be released through a Paris Fashion Week exclusive drop on January 23, 2026, with a global release to follow in February.
